Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Exchange
The IT team uses it the most but almost everyone in the organization uses the platform for Outlook and other Microsoft functions. We don’t have many noticeable issues. The user side is fine, we have regularly scheduled updates and fixes during non business hours.
Pros
- Easy to use.
- Format is up to date.
- Updates have been often but helpful.
Cons
- Speed, there is lag from time to time.
- Updates impact other programs which is a common issue.
- IT help desk support.
- Updates as needs change, big ones but necessary for the amount of use.
- Training for updates and new features.
- Customer familiarity leading to longevity of continuous usage.
- Flat pricing helps budget for users.
A lot are similar, but I’ve used Gmail in the past. I don’t know why exchange seemed to be easier to use. It’s been around so long and kept it’s main user view, I think that is appealing. I’ve used Gmail for personal use and the layout is much different. It’s ok, very google designed versus Microsoft.
