Mostly does what it's supposed to, just very slowly.
Overall Satisfaction with LogMeIn Central
Multiple teams within the organization utilize LogMeIn Central to manage our remote computers across the country. This allows us to monitor the performance of hardware & software components, perform Windows updates, troubleshoot, etc. The main users are the installation, implementation, and ongoing support departments. Across the organization, we have about 20 users.
Pros
- Allows you to remotely access machines
- Passable UI
- Decent online/offline indication
Cons
- Connecting is incredibly slow unless you knock the color values down to nothing
- Windows updating functionality is messy
- Automating tasks is more complicated than it needs to be
- ROI on a product like this that is central to the functionality of the company is difficult. It's a "must-have", not a "this provides us a clear ROI".
