Overall Satisfaction with iSpring Suite

We develop online courses in the fields of education and health. Our courses go beyond mere video lessons by incorporating role-plays, formative assessments, and interactive exercises. Over the past 12 months, we have utilised iSpring Suite to create SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) packages that include these engaging and interactive activities, enhancing the learning experience.

Pros

  • Integration of video and slides
  • Reliable SCORM packages
  • Ease to use

Cons

  • Reports (student performance)
  • Interactive resources
  • functions to retrieve user responses at different pages
  • We do not have any tangible impact to inform.
iSpring Suite is easy to use after a few trials and by checking online tutorials. Despite some limitations, such as recording only the first attempt's score and restricted role-play functionalities, it integrates video and slides effectively. Its simple quiz features work well, allowing feedback on responses, making it a practical tool.
My design team is well-versed in Microsoft Powerpoint, which made it easy to start using iSpring Suite and not H5P. The familiarity with PowerPoint facilitated a smooth transition, allowing us to quickly take advantage of iSpring Suite’s features for creating interactive SCORM packages and enhancing our online courses with ease and quicker.

No

Did iSpring Suite live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of iSpring Suite go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy iSpring Suite again?

Yes

iSpring Suite integrates video and slides, offering a simpler alternative to more complex video editing programs. Its features, including basic quizzes, work well and enable providing feedback on responses. Unfortunately, it is not possible to record a student’s score based on their last attempt at an exercise, as the system only records the first attempt. Additionally, the functionalities for activities such as role-plays are still limited.
