Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot CRM

Our sales team has benefited so much with having contacts being connected to each other in companies and associating them with deals as well. My sales reps love that all of their emails can be tracked and that they can have data for each contact all in one place making it easy to overview all of their contacts and see who hasn't contacted in a while and who they need to contact. There is a learning curve on how to best utilize HubSpot CRM, but I love their new bookmark feature so I can have all of my relevant tabs in one spot! I also love that HubSpot CRM can be treated like an excel table at times but also that it prompts you to enter information in a structured way as well so I can make sure my sales reps are including the information that they need most.

Pros

  • Email Tracking
  • Adding new contacts from outlook
  • Organize contacts by rep
  • Contact association is easy

Cons

  • A lot of my companies have one URL for a ton of branches and each branch has their own name and location so I have to manually enter all the information because they all have the same URL so I can't easily use an Excel file to import those contacts so a faster solution to this would be appreciated
  • Making Corporate and branch associations is very tedious, it would be nice if the companies that all share the same url would automatically associate with the corporate company so I didn't have to manually do it
  • I would like to not see all the extra feature tabs in my layout because I am not using them so it would be nice to be able to turn them off (even the ones that are in my plan that I don't use, it would be nice to turn them off)
  • Organization
  • Easily add 100s of contacts in one go with its smart importing capabilities. A lot of CRMs I've tried in the past are horrible at importing contacts
  • Our Sales Strategies have improved so much because our reps are able to keep track of their contacts better
HubSpot CRM is easy to use but the interface take some getting used to because there are so many ways to accomplish one thing. Which is great if you are able to learn technology fast and know exactly how you like something to function but if you are not as tech savvy and can be harder to understand where everything is and how to input everything. I kinda had to "baby proof" everyone's HubSpot CRM so that they only saw very focused things and not a whole range of things because there is so much to look at in HubSpot CRM and when I first started I was a bit overwhelmed. But once you create your own properties and structure your contact and company dashboards with the columns you need to see most, it gets a lot easier and using the preview function is so helpful!
I did not need so much of the task features that other CRMs have (which I do like the HubSpot CRM task features and how you can set up future follow-ups with contacts) but those other CRMs are not good if you are not a project-based company, and you have a lot of contacts. If you are a manufacturer, then HubSpot CRM is a way better tool than some of the other CRMs out there.

HubSpot CRM is great for maintaining and keeping track of all your contacts and companies in one place. So, if you have a lot of contacts and companies you work with, this tool is perfect! Plus, the HubSpot Outlook integrations work well and my team has loved that they don't have to manually enter the emails for every single contact. Before, we never had a system for maintaining our customer's timeline and when we last contacted them. As we have grown in the last couple years, we can see we may need to add more reps and because all the contact data is on HubSpot CRM, it will make it easier to share contacts with new reps! The only thing that tough with using HubSpot CRM is that it's URL based. Which is nice if you have a lot of companies that have their own websites, but if you have a lot of companies that are branch based and have the same URL, it can get a frustrating because you have to manually let HubSpot CRM know that you aren't making a duplicate company. And since that is the only way to tell if you have duplicates, you may add the same branch twice by mistake.
