Overall Satisfaction with Hoxhunt

Hoxhunt is an opt in email "game" to make sure we are understanding how scammers are trying to gather or steal information through email. The emails are varied and stretch your ability to recognize different methods to try to scam people.

Pros

  • Teaches new methods scammers are trying to steal information.
  • Keeps us on our toes by providing randomly timed emails to test us.
  • Shows how a person ranks relative to the company as a whole.

Cons

  • After many emails, it becomes easier to understand it is a "Hoxhunt" email just by a few common items in the email.
  • I would suspect that the company has less overall phishing emails that are clicked on after using Hoxhunt for a few months.

Although it is not perfect and it becomes easier to catch a Hoxhunt email, it is still a good tool to keep one on their toes.
