Hive Management Review
Overall Satisfaction with Hive
On an everyday basis, we use Hive to track and manage our projects and our ongoing work for clients. I think that the primary challenge that Hive solves for us is time tracking and making sure we accurately know the stages that our projects are in. This allows us to plan ahead appropriately and to make better decisions for allocating work and knowing the workload of our team members at any given moment.
Pros
- Time tracking.
- Project flow tracking.
- Information integration.
Cons
- The Hive chat.
- Billing transparency.
- Ticket and Software adjustments including the Hive App.
- Workflow Management will help you better move your projects along which saves time and money.
- Time tracking will allow you to better manage the hours and keep your contractors accountable.
- Overall visibility of projects allow you to keep your margins down and combat "bleeding" and hidden costs or surprises.
I would say that in comparison to Asana, Hive is a better interface an UI. I think Asana is more robust in terms of what it can do in conjunction with Confluence but I think Hive is a better entry-level model for new employees. Hive is much simpler and more straight forward and its integration with Slack is preferred.
