Overall Satisfaction with Gong
We use Gong for a few things at Utility Cloud. We use it for prospect meetings, that way we don't have to take as many notes while on a call. We also use it for training purposes. It is very helpful to see what makes a good call versus a bad call.
Pros
- provides transcripts of meetings
- records meetings for future playback and training
- automatically records them without having to think about it
Cons
- sometimes the playback file doesn't work, but it is rare
- price can be expensive
- occasionally it gets the words wrong on the transcript

Gong has definitely provided relevant and accurate insights into our customers. We had it installed while I was there and the difference in meetings is really great. It allows you to focus on the conversation and not be distracted while you are frantically jotting notes down. This means you are more attentive to your customers.
Gong has really helped build insights by tracking key words that get used in different meetings. That way we can see what is important in our space all around. Therefore our marketing team can target new prospects more accurately. This results in a lot more leads and a lot of better conversations.
