Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Dropbox has been heavily used, especially during the pandemic thru today. This has helped with collaboration across all remote workers. We also utilize the various security measures to grant or deny access to certain areas depending on the employee, their position, their division, etc. File sharing has been instrumental for when audits are being conducted.

Sometimes there are syncing issues between online contact and that of some employees' computers, which has caused some file sync issues at times. It's improved over the years, but I feel there is still room for improvement.

With almost all of our employees working remotely, DropBox has been very helpful in collaborating and sharing important files. It has also aided us in becoming more eco-friendly, using less paper, and doing things more electronically. For example, for Accounts Payable, we've implemented a folder that new bills can be dropped in, another folder for bills that have been approved for payment, and another set of folders that the bills can be moved over to once the bills have been paid. All are accessed by the various levels of management who needs access to this information. The process has worked very well.
