Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce
We are using the HR, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting and Performance Modules of Ceridian Dayforce. Most modules are being used internationally but Payroll and benefits are specific to North America. It helped our organization go from 6 disparate systems to 1 unified system for employees.
Pros
- Single platform for employees
- Intuitive navigation for end users
Cons
- Trying to do too much too soon - selling modules before they can implement (Compensation, Learning)
- Would like to see focus on basic functionality vs. "bells and whistles" and extra modules
- Reporting is not intuitive for users
- Customer Service has slow response and un-knowledgable staff
- Reduced net spend on multiple systems
Makes it easier to share data across the organization.
Dayforce Feature Ratings
Evaluating Ceridian Dayforce HCM and Competitors
Yes -
Overall - having one platform makes the user experience easier. Also improves maintenance of data.
Oracle HR - Replaced core HR and benefits functions. More user friendly interface for employees and managers.
Oracle Compensation Workbench - easier refreshing of data.
Performance Management Software - eliminated additional interfaces
Jobvite - recruiting platform. Allows for less data entry for hiring process
- Price
- Product Usability
Usability was the most important factor. Less log-ins for employees, less interfaces to build and maintain. Implementation and shortly after was rough but we are now on the correct path.
We would have asked for better understanding of the product roadmap for features. We would have relied less heavily on resources from IT since we were transitioning the system internally to the HR team. We would have also not implemented all modules at the same time and opted for a slower roll-out of modules.
