Overall Satisfaction with Braze

We use Braze as our Email Service Provider to send marketing emails, push, and sms, across the different branches of our organization, so we have more than 1 Braze account. The scope is very large as our notifications go to millions of people. We send users through journey flows as well as single batch sends.

Cons

  • I would love to see an image upload like that in Salesforce where the image is able to be updated post email launch by replacing the existing URL.
  • Braze has been played a big role in our overall success as a marketing org when it comes to profits and brand awareness.
Braze is pretty easy to understand how to use. The complexity comes in at the business level and learning how to use Braze to accomplish our goals. Braze has some useful features to aid in this like limits on how many emails a user will receive per day or quiet hours so they don't get emails in the middle of the night.
I haven't used any of Braze's new AI features myself but it's great being able to use just one platform to send email to push to sms, all different notification types, and have that all connected to user data in a single place. Building journeys is also easy to do via the canvas feature.
Braze was a newer solution that allowed for complexities and we had people on the team that were familiar with it, making for an easier onboarding and transition of the tool.

Braze is a good mainstream ESP for complex use cases, with an image uploaded, canvas journey builder, options to send email, push, and sms, with options for complicated set up in the audience set up to the journey steps. It's good for big recurring lifecycle type sends as well as single batch sends.
