Overall Satisfaction with Acuity Scheduling

As a company of one, I use Acuity Scheduling to allow potential clients to book complimentary discovery calls and web design services. This prevents the whole email back-and-forth on what days/times work for you.

Pros

  • It integrates with iCal and Google Calendar.
  • Clients can book and purchase directly within Acuity.

Cons

  • Does not calculate taxes (you must build these in to each service cost).
  • Owned by Squarespace, but does not connect to their email campaign software.
  • I save hours a week emailing potential scheduling options, and did not have to hire a VA.
  • Clients booking my hourly service are required to complete a detailed form so I can make sure I'm a good fit for their project.
I had issues with the Calendly/Zoom integration. No problems integrating Zoom and Acuity.
Support is great. You get an email response by the next business day. Not only are they helpful, but they are also funny and kind as well. I'm on a grandfathered plan that is free, but they even help me out with answers to my occasional questions. This has been consistent even after being acquired by Squarespace.
