Overall Satisfaction with ActivTrak
We use ActivTrak to spot trends, to validate concerns regarding workloads that are too heavy or too light and to guide performance discussions. It's been a great asset to our business especially as our remote workforce continues to grow.
Pros
- Live reports is a great tool when I need specific information over a specific time period, the hover feature helps me get to the details I need
- Automatic reporting helps my manager view the information they need to effectively observe their teams
- The executive summary is the perfect snapshot to stay up to date on the organizations performance
Cons
- The tutorials could be better, I do wish they provided an easy to follow example of an employees performance and answered the questions most managers have when using the tools
- True integration with outlook calendars would be helpful so when productivity is low it's easy to see if the employee was in meetings, or on PTO. We have found if an employee puts pto on their calendar (or any other commitment) as an all day event it does not show up on the ActivTrak reports
- We can provide a healthier work life balance by spotting trends where the work day is too long
- We are able to maximize our ROI on new employees by making sure they have full productive work days
- We have been able to provide effective performance coaching and terminate non productive personnel with data to back up our decisions
- Live Reports is my favorite feature it helps me be a more effective manager and gives me peace of mind in a remote workforce environment
- the Alarms are very helpful to our companies security, the notifications have helped us react quickly to mitigate risk
Before, we did not have any reports that told us how productive our employees were inside or outside of the office, ActivTrak has been a game changer
It helps us reallocate work and have conversations in real time when we see long work days for an extended amount of time. On the reverse when we see short work days we can address it immediately and guide a plan for improvement or reallocate work to keep employees productive
