Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Thinkific for my courses, digital download lead magnets, and digital workbooks. The business problems I solve are for job seekers, providing out-of-the-box thinking search strategies as well as leveraging AI for building new income streams for the everyday person even if they are not looking to leave their current employer. Thinkific allows me to create amazing landing pages, ability to email and create funnels, and so much more. It's a convenient one stop shop and I love it!

Pros

  • The accelerator program.
  • Providing tips on how to succeed using their platform.
  • User-friendly setup for putting together landing pages and course uploads.
  • The platform is very intuitive and you don't have to have tech skills to use the platform.

Cons

  • I wish bulk orders could be available for ALL plans not only the higher paying plans.
  • I wish I knew how SEO worked with Thinkific because I don't think I am doing it correctly.
  • I do a lot of searches in Google to figure out things like how to space in Thinkific for some of its features when working on my landing page. Apparently, there are some features that do not space and you have to use html to get the words to space in paragraph form and etc.

Return on Investment

  • Well, let me tell you this! I literally launched a unlocking new income streams with AI course on a Sunday and started getting sales within 12 hours, then within 3-4 days ended up getting 4 sales. About 7 more people said they will be buying the course as soon as they get paid since the course was launched on rent/mortgage day (aka June 1st).
  • My other course was priced higher and only ended up getting 3 sales within 3 weeks. However, what it did show me (it was my first course I've ever done let alone have up on Thinkific) is that I needed to revamp my course as well as landing page. Through the Accelerator program, I realized that my quality was WAY off and the landing page was NO WHERE at the level it should have been. So, that program helped a ton! Now, the course is revamped (just finished it two days ago), but this time around I am going to have a marketing plan in place before launching. So, the launch won't happen for another 3-4 weeks!
  • I like that payment comes very quickly. I typically receive payment within 1-2 business days. Also, there is not a huge payment taken out of the sale as a whole.

Why I will always use Thinkific

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Thinkific for my online business course. This course was created so my students would have ease with learning. I highly enjoy that it’s very simple to set up, it can be done quickly and is constantly being updated. My students enjoy that it’s smooth, it has a very nice luxury look. And that they are able to start and stop whenever they please.

Pros

  • Constantly updates the sites program for better use to the admin and enrollees
  • Being able to have the option of a app to help support your brand and business more
  • Allows you to edit and upload right from any mobile device. Making updates for the admin easier and quicker to get content out.
  • Allows you to preview everything you do and have it in drafts. This makes your creation process smooth and not rushed
  • Provides you training beyond just the course set up. This allows you to really grow and better your business and brand with great leadership

Cons

  • I think the beginner course should have at least 2 admin options. As a small owner when you are starting to sprout but don’t have a huge team yet. The cost can be helpful if the beginner rate then jumping straight to the higher advanced.

Return on Investment

  • POSTIVE impact more students enrolled i have had no negative reviews or feedback from any enrollment since starting.

The best organization is Thinkific Plus's and I don't argue with anyone because it helps me a lot.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Thinkific Plus in our organization to create new academic programs in our institution. It helps us to store all the courses we have available for our students. We love it because it is complete and very easy to use.

Pros

  • Enrollments
  • Zoom classes uploaded to the platform
  • Organization

Cons

  • The only issue we currently have with Thinkific Plus is that they have to update the data for us to upload more than 2 gb of classes to the platform because it has a maximum of 2gb and sometimes when we do live events the classes weigh a lot of data and we can't upload it.

Return on Investment

  • For us it is a positive impact because it has helped us a lot to organize everything about our programs. The agents learn to handle it very quickly.

Gets the job done

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use it for our tourism insider program. We created a course for hospitality workers in our town to have the opportunity to learn more about the community so they may share it with visitors & patrons of their businesses.

Pros

  • Easy interface
  • Simple plug and play courses

Cons

  • Support, every time I have needed support, they seem to give me the run around
  • Make it easier to own our content. If that makes sense. Sometimes we get requests for a printable version of our course. I would like the opportunity to create that, but it doesn’t make it easy to take our content and use it differently.

Return on Investment

  • Contract term length

Overall Great Course Platform

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Thinkific is a good course platform. We've had less issues with it than we did with Teachable, though like any platform is has some limitations. We use it for all our online courses and delivery of some bonus content as well. We also use the communities feature.

Pros

  • Integration with Email Marketing Platform
  • Easy to use interface
  • Ability to create simple landing pages

Cons

  • Bulk enrollment/unenrollment, specifically related to communities
  • The ability to see who is currently an active member in a community
  • The ability to schedule monthly charges rather than have them be whenever the user enrolls. For example, to run a cohort program.

Return on Investment

  • Increased sales due to Apple/Google Pay options
  • Relatively easy to give add-on options or upsells
  • Increase MRR through subscription based programs
