Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Signifyd for all of our eCommerce purchases to protect ourselves from fraudulent orders. It is being used across our online stores and by multiple departments. It helps take the burden of worrying about whether or not an order is fraudulent and allows us to focus on customer service and delivery. It provides a level of comfort knowing we're protected.

Protects us against fraudulent purchases
Provides ease of mind that your online orders are legitimate
Gives you detailed information on every purchase if needed.

Cons

Tracking down an order can be a pain sometimes
larger orders are manually approved/declined so tend to take longer

Likelihood to Recommend

I think Signifyd is well suited for any eCommerce store that delivers physical goods to an address. You will be protected if they approve the order and it turns out to be fraud, and you can take comfort knowing you won't ship any orders that are declined. It is not well suited for companies selling digital goods or services as they won't protect anything that's not physically shipped.

Signifyd does our fraud management for all our DTC business.

Pros

High approval rate.
Find the fraud.
Always responsive to escalations.

I am completely satisfied.

Signifyd has done a remarkable job of approving nonfraud. We have a 99.7% approval rate. In the cases that are fraud, they give you the ammunition to justify the denial. For example, we had an order on a credit card from California. Signifyd found fraudulent charges. The credit card owner said all the correct things to our CSR and when they were denied threatened to light us up on social media. It was escalated to me. When we looked into this further we found they were making purchases and sending the product to Latin America. I responded they are welcome to use social media and I would respond with what we found. The incident ended with no social media posts.
