Sometimes BlueKai is more expensive but the segment size is worth the additional money because when running on a vCPM you want the algorithm to have as many cookies to work with as possible. … With that being said data in general is sometimes more expensive than what it's worth and thus less media gives you worse performance.

For the size of our org, Eloqua is a very expensive product on a yearly subscription but it has proved to be the lover boy of marketing people because it is very easy to use.

It's perhaps not worth the cost if you are a B2C company, as much of the functionality is more useful for B2B marketing. … If so, Eloqua is a great service to help you execute your marketing plan and improve ROI.

We recouped our first year investment with the first campaign we ran-- the sheer reach that we were able to get would have cost us 200% of what we spent on our Eloqua subscription in year 1.

Reporting was a mess and investment of time in things like Campaign Manager were nothing more than a slick marketing term for setting up your data sync – there was no value from an ROI perspective.
