  • Ease of Use
While Kaspersky Hybrid Cloud Security packs a punch, it takes some time to get used to for more complex settings. The interface is straightforward, and the fundamental features are easy to use, although the more complex ones may benefit from additional explanations and tutorials.
We looked into competitors like Trend Micro and Sophos throughout our research into cloud security solutions. Kaspersky Hybrid Cloud Security stands out as the best option because of its superior threat detection capabilities, its ability to easily integrate with widespread cloud services, and its ability to adapt to our unique infrastructure requirements through a hybrid strategy.

We have deployed multiple machines in Cloud and we required one solutions that meets all our requirement for data protection. We have deployed Kaspersky Hybrid Cloud Security and we have achieved the same with single console. It is works well and having adaptive security technology which help us lot in our hybrid data security.
  • Hybrid Cloud Support
  • Product Features and clean UI
  • Automated operations
  • Differentiate between Total Security and Hybrid Cloud Security
  • Licensing
  • Manageability of Hybrid Cloud Environment
Kaspersky Hybrid Cloud Security is same as Kaspersky Total Security, hence i recommend to use only Kaspersky Hybrid Security when you really wanted to deploy it. It is only useful wherever you have the Hybrid Workload and want to protect your data from Cloud itself. Also, from Cloud to Cloud Backup, there are some challenges with Kaspersky Hybrid Cloud Security. So, you have to do PoC before procurement for the said Software.
  • Hybrid Workload Protection
  • Robust features and clean UI
  • Adaptive Security Technology
  • Negative - ROI
  • Negative - Technical Support
  • Positive - Features and UI
  • Negative - Manageability
We have selected Kaspersky Hybrid Cloud Security against all other peers because of their competitive pricing. They have given huge discount with extended product support. Also, by decreasing some negative points, we have enjoyed our deployment phase with some fantastic product features. You can easily configure the product for your hybrid data protection.

We have been using Kaspersky Hybrid Cloud Security for the last 3 years to protect our on-premise virtual infrastructure and increasingly to protect these assets as we move them to the cloud. Our current scope is about 35 virtual desktops and around 20 virtual servers which are split across three ESXi hosts and Azure.
  • Single license for on-prem and cloud.
  • Integration with central management.
  • Protection of low spec VMs via central scanning VM.
  • Deployment process can be complicated and not work as expected.
  • Updating to the latest versions is complex and usually requires a reinstall.
  • The Secure Virtual Machines used for central scanning often become unable to communicate with Endpoints.
It is extremely well suited for medium to large deployments of hybrid cloud infrastructure within companies that have dedicated support teams to manage, deploy and update the software due to the nature of the difficulties associated with Kaspersky mechanisms for this. As a smaller company without the dedicated time to manage it becomes more of an inconvenience and does not really offer the full protection due to the inability to update easily.
  • Works with all virtualisation and cloud platforms.
  • Single license regardless of Endpoint location.
  • Central management of policies and tasks.
  • It has negatively impacted our ROI as we have to spend too many man-hours managing the product and reinstalling it.
  • We have had to remove the software 6 months early due to continuing issues and concerns over the protection offered. This has caused us to lose out on licensing costs already paid for.
