What is InEight?
InEight offers construction project controls software, empowering over 850 companies taking on challenging projects in industries including construction and engineering; transportation infrastructure; mining; water; power and renewables; and oil, gas and chemical. Suited to capital construction and other complex work, our integrated, modular software manages projects worth over $1 trillion globally, taking control of project information management, costs, schedules, contracts, and construction operations, and delivering insights with advanced analytics and AI. InEight's solutions adapt and scale to meet the dynamic needs of modern construction, with the goal of driving operational excellence and successful project outcomes.
InEight software aims to deliver confidence that decisions are based on
complete insights, continuously modernizes business operations, and frees teams
to focus on their work rather than their software tools. Confidence stems from
accurate, real-time project data that highlights what’s on track and what needs
quick corrective action to prevent costly delays. And the organized, in-depth
data transforms into business-wide insights that guide strategic choices. InEight software is designed to include detailed
flexibility and configurability demanded by complex work – organizations can
standardize best-practices processes at any scale. With stringent security architecture,
all data is secure and auditable, preventing disputes and legal trouble.
For the capital construction software field, InEight is presented as a fit for capital construction, and is designed to support large and complex projects with granular flexibility.
InEight turns operational data into an asset, delivering insights to support
smarter decisions, whether day-to-day or long-term.
Ultimately, InEight software helps to improve project information
management, control cost and schedules, tightly manage contracts and change,
and smoothly guide even complex construction operations.

InEight Review as a Subcontractor
- Tracking labor and equipment hours to specific estimated scope line items
- Creating detailed work breakdown structures within Estimate and using that same structure to apply cost to during the job
- Creating custom data blocks in control to track progress and create forecasts
Cons
- Document module feels clunky and difficult to use. RFI creation should be streamlined, almost like it's own section of the module.
- Schedule integration with Control & Progress modules.
- Change module should have the ability to detailed change orders from scratch, whether Lump Sum or T&M. Right now it's only useful to plug in numbers and use as a log. There is no detailed cost/price breakdown buildout.
