Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I am a network infrastructure engineer and my work is to ensure optimum network performance in our organisation. I use IBM SevOne software to monitor performance and general health of our IT systems, detect performance issues across-the-board our network infrastructures and prevent down times which may lead to interruption of services. The software makes it so easy for me to identify root causes of anomalies and enhance repairs. Use of the product has also ensured real-time visibility into our network performance and eliminated network management repetitive tasks and processes.

  • The software ensures real-time alerts on network performance issues and has very effective anomaly detection capabilities.
  • IBM SevOne software ensures comprehensive security and compliance.
  • It is well suited in active performance monitoring both on premises and cloud.

Cons

  • IBM SevOne deployment and implementation process is not easy. The product has a steep learning curve that favours only IT professionals.
  • The software only supports English language which is a major limitation.
