Customers appreciate the product's ability to customize data searches, reports and dashboards to fit their specific needs. Additionally, users are able to quickly access information from any screen and get real-time insights into their business performance through the document scanning feature.

We use it to enter kits for products and keep track of inventory. We also use it for tracking orders, and everything is connected.
  • Keeps track of inventory turns
  • Keeps everything related under an order
  • Allows scans to be imported and attached to orders
  • Support takes too much time
  • Cannot make certain changes, must contact support
If you scan paperwork in, you can attach it to an order. Then with a wonderful right click, you will pull up everything assigned to that order. For products, you can see all PO's an item was purchased on and also an average cost with freight included.

  • The positive aspect is that everything can be attached to an "order" so we know exactly what the cost was against the sale price. We don't lose backorders bc they are automatically created and attached.
Epicor BisTrack helps keep track of things better and it in fact much easier to use.

We utilize Epicor BisTrack by managing projects from bidding through to completion. This software allows us to define a clear path for both the customer and our construction team to outline scopes and contracts. We are able to easily communicate, manage, update and outline processes throughout each individual project and seamlessly move from one project to another. This software also comes in handy for warranty work allowing our back end team to see pictures and progress after completion. By having the ability to see from layout to completion and narrow down fields by drop down menus our team can easily locate areas in specific projects that maybe of concern.

Specifically Eipcor comes in handy daily by easily tracking manpower, deliveries, inspections, and other daily tracked items. It is well suited for day to day operations where others can fill in or pick up if somewhere were out of the office. Epicor is less appropriate in providing weekly updates to teams and customers. It is easier to extract the necessary information off of the software to generate your own reports then try to procure one using the software itself.

Epicor BisTrack is essential for those in the lumber and building materials industry, especially if they are in the wholesale/distribution side of things. I provided the rating because I feel that BisTrack has contributed a lot for my company and provided with essential information for decision-making on a day-to-day basis. The score also reflects that while BisTrack is an essential software for my business, there is also room for improvement so that the end users will be able to obtain what they need from the software.
