I use Adobe Premiere Pro to create marketing material content for social media purposes. This software allows me to create more dynamic content for marketing purposes that gets better rates of interaction from viewers and allows me to show video content as opposed to only static images. Adobe Premiere Pro gives me greater control over my video content as opposed to other editing software. This is the software professionals use, but it's not impossible to use as a casual user!
  • Allows for video and sound mixing
  • Create any kind of motion or transition
  • Allows for full control over the final deliverable
Cons
  • The software interface can be really quite overwhelming visually
  • It can be difficult to understand where to find tools and they are not very user-friendly if you are trying to learn the software without an introduction, but can be easy to use once you know what you are doing
  • It can be difficult to switch between views
There really is no scenario in which Adobe Premiere Pro is not suitable. It is the pinnacle of video editing software, to the point that true million dollar projects are produced using Adobe Premiere Pro. That being said, it could be overkill if you need a very small, lightly edited video created. You certainly could still use Adobe Premiere Pro, but it wouldn't be worth learning how to use Adobe Premiere Pro solely for something that could be edited in free software within five minutes. Otherwise, Adobe Premiere Pro is suitable for literally any video project.
  • Adobe Premiere Pro helps us get better interaction with our marketing materials on social media as a B2B company
  • Adobe Premiere Pro can be time consuming to learn and use (if you are not well-versed or use it regularly to stay savvy) and can cause a larger investment of time and therefore pay to your employee using the software.
I give Adobe Premiere Pro an 8 instead of a 10 for usability because while it is the ultimate pinnacle of editing software and can do anything you may want to do, it is time consuming to learn how to use and is not something you can download and within a few hours have mastered the basics of.
I have also used Adobe Premiere Rush (a less capable but more streamlined and easier to use version of Adobe Premiere Pro) and Canva to produce video content. Ultimately I will choose to use Adobe Premiere Pro every time. I always end up wanting to do something in Rush that I cannot and switch to Adobe Premiere Pro, and Canva just frustrates me with its extreme limitations.

We use Adobe Premiere Pro to create marketing materials for our professional services business. These are usually short videos that highlight a project or event and then we use the videos on our social media or website. These videos incorporate photos, raw footage, graphics, and sound. We don't create these on a super regular basis, but we need them from time to time.
3
Adobe Premiere Pro can be intimidating to use because it is not super intuitive or user friendly. It's fine once you've figured it out and learned how to use it and it works well, but it's always a slow program for people to learn. Our users need to already understand the basics of videography, sound, and a little bit of how to use related Adobe products.
  • Social Media
  • Website
  • Project Promotion
  • For hiring/recruitment
There is not better program for your needs than Adobe Premiere Pro. It doesn't matter if it can be hard to learn because this product is the top of the line and you will not find a better video editing program. This is what the professionals use. It is worth the learning curve.

Adobe Premiere Pro is your best partner when working with videos.

We record training sessions and videos and we use Adobe Premiere Pro in order to enhance recording and remove all the deformities in the videos and make it look better. We add sound effects, transitions, etc. Without this application we could only record once with all the mistakes available in the recording yet this added a great value.
  • Transitions are made very well.
  • It is very easy to find your way in this application with all the available tools.
  • Adobe has added a load of training material where you can find what you are looking for in no time.
  • You can enhance your videos very easily and remove all none needed parts with a click.
Cons
  • Adobe Premiere Pro can add a section for Intro's where you can design it or take it as a template or even buy it.
  • There are more transitions that can be added as templates to use.
  • Adobe Premiere Pro can add loads of images to be used during video recording.
Adobe Premiere Pro support is great and you can find answers to whatever you are looking for. Adobe Premiere Pro is an international application where masters are using it in video productions and they do many updates to make it look perfect. Adobe Premiere Pro chooses colors of interfaces in a very good way, The split in the screen (main screen) is well made and you can never get lost there.
  • Cutting none needed parts of videos.
  • Adding transitions.
  • You can add water marks to your videos or translations so easily.
  • Time : Lots of time saved in recording as we had to record many times to make things perfect before using Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Tools : Adobe Premiere Pro is a one stop shop as you can use all the available tools there rather than buying many applications to work on your video so there is a saving in cost.
Adobe Premiere Pro has all the tools you are looking for. It is easy to find things, you can save unfinished projects in a location. Other applications do not have all the available transitions, tools similar to Adobe Premiere Pro. Blender has for example a complex interface and it is not easy to find things.

They are staff who work in the Information Technology department and they have taken enough training to support any function or question within Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Training recording.
  • Recording speaches.
  • Virtual assistance recording.
  • Recording from different countries and combining the video's into one.
  • Work on cleaning old videos using Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Open an academy to train students on how to use Adobe.
  • Put Adobe as a training session for new staff joining on the basic usage.
Adobe Premiere Pro saves time and cost and it does a great job. When you see the output you know that you have made the right investment in the right application. Adobe does not require a lot of support to work good. There are thousands of videos in case you are looking for a particular thing to do during your work on your videos therefore it is well supported.

As the Audio/Visual coordinator for a multi-campus church, video editing has become an essential step in our workflow in distributing our video materials across all campuses and online. Adobe Premiere has provided our A/V team with the tools needed to produce our weekly sermon and video materials in a timely manner with quick turnarounds while maintaining high-quality production value.
  • Editing Tools and Utilities — Compared to other editing software, Adobe Premiere provides utilities and editing tools allowing the editor to manipulate footage, audio, and images in a way they best see fit for the production. These utilities include in-depth color correction tools, audio production utilities, and production templates.
  • Streamlined Adobe Interface and Functionality — As an avid user of multiple Adobe software, Premiere utilizes a similar user interface across all of its products. Users familiar with one Adobe software (such as Photoshop) can easily figure out how some tools and functions work solely from their previous experience. Premiere also supports integration with other Adobe software, providing the user the ability to import file formats from other Adobe products and maintain the ability to edit / adjust files after import as needed.
  • Regular Updates/Support — As part of the Adobe Creative Cloud, Premiere is regularly updated with new tools, features, and functions to assist video editors with their workflow. Software is well tested prior to release, ensuring bugs and glitches are minimal. When any issues are discovered, Adobe is typically quick to release patches and updates to remedy issues.
Cons
  • Creative Cloud Subscription Service — Premiere is part of the Adobe Creative Cloud subscription service. This means that software is not a one-time purchase, but rather part of on-going pay-to-play. Adobe does not offer the ability to purchase software per version which can frustrate users who are not worried about regular updates and would rather make a single software purchase and have access to it for life.
  • Learning Curve — Due to its large selection of tools, utilities, and menus, Premiere can be difficult to just "jump in" and use without prior video editing software experience. Basic production editing can be learned quickly with additional resources (such as YouTube or training courses), but more in-depth functions may take users time to learn to access and use efficiently. Adobe provides some learning resources, but additional free training as part of the Creative Cloud would be beneficial.
  • Additional Preset Templates — Adobe Premiere implemented new templates for lower-thirds, titles, and other graphics in a recent update. However, there are only a select few templates to choose from for each category. It would be nice to have additional templates added in a future update for individuals looking to quickly create without manually creating each aspect of the production.
Adobe Premiere is perfect for the semi-professional or professional video editor. For our church, we produce weekly sermons for YouTube with embedded graphics, video clips for reference, and music, with Premiere being the only suitable software (on PC) that allows us to accomplish this at a high-quality, professional level. Premiere may also be suitable for individuals new to video editing if they are doing so looking to learn, as Premiere provides plenty of growing room. Casual video editors may be better suited with a less intensive, friendlier video editing software.
  • Adobe Premiere has provided a software that allows our audio / visual team to accomplish all that is required in maintaining a multi-campus church organization via distribution of pre-recorded video, for both our PC users and Mac users.
  • When using MacOS across our campuses, we found that Final Cut Pro was a better value for semi-professional video with a single-time purchase that is lower than a single year of Adobe Premiere. This is no longer an option for us as Final Cut Pro is Mac-exclusive (we now primarily use Windows OS).
Compared to Final Cut Pro X and iMovie, Adobe Premiere is the only software available for Mac and PC. Premiere also provides a much more complete and extensive set of editing tools and utilities compared to other software. Alternatively, iMovie provides the most user-friendly experience of the three, closely followed by Final Cut Pro. Since our organization has migrated to primarily Windows-based computers, Final Cut Pro X and iMovie are no longer options for us, and iMovie did not provide sufficient tools to deliver the final outcome we desired.
3
Premiere allows us to create our weekly video productions for our organization, allowing us to reach audiences beyond those participating live on site. We also utilize Premiere (in conjunction with Adobe Photoshop) for creation of video marketing materials on social media (including Facebook video, YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter).

In addition to basic computer literacy skills (navigation of an OS, installing and launching software), must also have in-depth knowledge of Adobe software tools, functions, and utilities (e.g. how to use a non-linear video editing timeline, proper use, application and adjustment of effects, etc). Additional knowledge of basic audio production (adjustment of audio levels, audio devices) is also beneficial.
  • Weekly Sermon Video Editing and Distribution
  • Creation of Video Marketing Material (promos, previews)
  • Basic Audio Production Editing and Finalization
  • Basic Audio Production
  • Direct-to-platform rendering & distribution
  • Creation of motion graphic supplements for other productions
Adobe Premiere has become an integral part of our weekly production workflow, providing advanced tools and functionality not currently available in competing software
