Read full review Diversity teams use this, and powerfilters are very helpful. When looking for volume, Seek out other terms to find relevant profiles well. For example, it might map other candidates with similar terms at the end of the pool search. Also, the bias reducer filter helps make sure there is less bias towards a hiring manager and the recruiters.
Read full review Pros The set-up of the event asks for important details to maximize the effectiveness of the event, but is also very simple. The opportunity for you to create more personal connections with each candidate, while also providing a virtual hiring experience. The actual hiring event platform that is utilized during the execution of the event is simple, user-friendly, and aesthetically pleasing. Read full review It is customized with boolean search and allows users to merge the keywords with advanced features to get best results. With complex keywords, it searches till best possible outcomes by utilizing powerful filters. It’s basic features is to find the best capable candidates, it sends users personalized messages through email. Read full review Cons Although we have a sponsored jobs agreement, so candidates are directed to our website to apply, I have heard recruiters say the old view to where you can see the candidates that applied through Indeed is helpful. Disabling job posting permissions from certain users would be helpful. Only admin should be able to post jobs (that aren't free). It would help better manage our invoicing and billing with Indeed. Read full review SeekOut needs better updates to the backend repository, LI. Several times, when pulled through, SeekOut pulled up LI profiles that were not up to date compared to when searched on LI directly. It would be helpful to have better/more updated phone information. As noted in the previous screen, approx. 50% of phone contact information is spot-on, however capturing more up to date information for phone would be helpful. Although picky, having different colors for screens to highlight areas would be helpful. Working late at night, which many times do, the screens are similar in color and brightness, and it would be beneficial to have more distinguishment in colors or brightness so as not to blend. Read full review Likelihood to Renew Indeed is great because it seems like a lot of IT consultants and IT resources use it to find new opportunities. The platform is continuously innovating and the price can be reasonable if managed actively and properly when setting up the job posting. I don't give it a 10 because the method of promoting your posting and their cost per applicant value is NOT transparent at all. It is dynamic according to market conditions which we have to assume is in the favor of the company making money and NOT serving us as customers. But maybe we are being too cynical? We say this because their search feature to find our posting and our company information from the candidate's side is suprisingly not very good. Why does only exact match searches work vs returning posts or company information if the candidate does NOT have the exact matching words. That is not how most search tools/engines work. They return the most relevant first and everything else afterward, but Indeed does not seemingly do this from our experience. If we do not enter exact key word matching our job postings and company information is not returned from the candidate search perspective.
Read full review This platform tends to give you applicants who are not necessarily looking for new opportunities. I have had people be upset that I contacted them or sought them out on LinkedIn. This can be troublesome when the only thing I am trying to do is find qualified applicants. I need active people, who dont mind a cold call
Read full review Usability Overall usability is very good, for our company it's been helpful for us to be able to navigate a large applicant pool. We've also found the prompts and icons to be very intuitive and aesthetic. Issues have mostly been on the applicant end and the interview option, while helpful, has also had some minor usability issues in the past.
Read full review Using SeekOut is very intuitive. Lots of multi-select boxes, toggle switches, and keyword boxes. If you have any experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, SeekOut is not a far jump in learning how to use it effectively. I will say that adding candidates to projects doesn't necessarily feel like an intuitive process after you've been redirected to LinkedIn to look at a candidate's profile
Read full review Support Rating When we first started with Indeed, we had a dedicated account rep that we could reach out to with questions. They would often try to upcharge, but at least we could get solutions for issues. Unfortunately now Indeed has removed those positions and the only way to contact Support is chat and email. Many times we don't get an answer to questions, and have no escalation point for issues.
Read full review We have not needed to get in touch with the support team during our time using SeekOut because someone else in our company takes care of that matter. Overall, we have been very satisfied with the ease of use and self-sufficiency of SeekOut and have not found the need to contact the support team.

Read full review We had an online tarining with all the recruiters. The trainer was very good, and enthusiast as well. He explained everything very detailed, showed how to search which kind of functions are in Seekout. He showed the program by using examples of search. We could ask questions at the end, and he told that we can contact him any time.
Read full review Implementation Rating Integration was easy and painless. Really had no issues throughout the process, and Indeed did not offer us support options. Glad that the system is helpful since Indeed's customer service is not. I do wish they had better support options, even a phone number to call if we run into issues.
Read full review Once the licenses were purchased we were sent an email to activate our account. From there we had full access to the platform and a training was set up. Since I had used SeekOut previously I understood the dynamics of the platform and was able to use it instantly.
Read full review Alternatives Considered I think Indeed Hiring Platform heavily outweighs Zip and CareerBuilder in terms of quality of candidates and candidate reach. It is most similar to LinkedIn in terms of success with sourcing candidates. Still, as stated in the previous question, I believe LinkedIn is more qualified in terms of higher-level/higher-paid candidates.
Read full review We selected SeekOut as an extra level of sourcing and the intention was not to use LI anymore. They do not stack up because we are able to DM candidates, or they can message us asking questions, set up screens, send resumes, etc. You can not do that on SeekOut.
Read full review Return on Investment My healthcare client had 55 RSVPs and 19 attendees which were well above their expectations for the event. I think this event significantly reduced the time to hire for those who attended the event. My customer service client had to cancel their event, but for their next one, they are definitely hoping it will have a great ROI since they are able to hire a high volume for each role.
