Cleverbridge vs. EvolutionX

Cleverbridge is well-suited for big companies that have a client base and want to start online. If you have a wide range of products, and you sell worldwide--where different languages and different settings are needed for each region--then Cleverbridge is good solution. If you just want to start selling with limited stock and with couple of product types only in one region, then it's not good idea to begin with Cleverbridge.

Customers love having their own online account that shows their current pricing on items. We love this too, as when you put in the specific markup they receive on each item, the price will automatically change for them. All we need to worry about is updating our costs then. The big bugaboo for me is the fact that we cannot simply copy a SKU. Being a PPE supplier there are thousands of items that are similar (ex: glasses just with a different lens color), where being able to copy and edit what you need would be ideal. There are so many items we'd like to add to our site at times, but we think about the time that it would require and sometimes we do not follow through with adding because of this issue

• The slow system can take up to 10 seconds to save something

• As I already mentioned some testing button for email templates would be great.
• It would be great that there are more themes that people can choose from.
• Even thought there are lots of training videos I would like to see even more especially on some advanced features and capabilities.

It is a good platform with good customizable features for our customers.

Usability is native, but the system is complex. It has a knowledge base, but who reads that, right? So without explanation, sometimes it's hard to understand how to move and set things. But as soon as you get it, it's not a problem anymore. There are 2 major things, which keeps me from giving a higher score: 1 - Delay in time when making changes; can take up to 2 sec when opening a product, and 10 secs when saving a product update. When you do several updates, it is time consuming; 2 - A lot of settings, which also in the end becomes time consuming.

It is easy to use and as they have been updating their platform, it has gotten even much more easier to utilize and navigate.

DR Waco e screwed up the company when we worked with them - they didn’t like customers - I know that sounds odd but it was true and their software was dreadful

Evolution X feels better built specifically for our industry and helps to provide relevant supplier catalogues, it also opens us up to dialogue with new suppliers and partnerships to form around this. For instance our ACCO account has grown by x8 since we started adding their catalogue by Fusion Data via EVOX. PrestaShop is all added by spreadsheet and there is no pre-populated catalogue ready to add which means it relies on our in-house capabilities or the supplier to provide feeds to import which not many of them have

• We've saved tons of time with creating customer's accounts to automatically display their marked up priced on items. (no longer need to physically update some of these individual's quote forms)
