Overall Satisfaction with EvolutionX

We are a safety supplies/PPE distributor, & we highlight some of our more popular or commonly stocked items on EvolutionX. Having a user-friendly website where customers can quickly order what they need, or where other individuals can find us online is huge in this industry. Many people prefer doing everything online these days, & I'm glad we can offer that. It's nice to be able to make customized customer accounts that show them their specific price on items, allows them to customize things how they'd like to, add multiple users, etc.

Pros

  • Quick Ordering
  • Easy Account setups
  • Being able to have multiple items show on one page

Cons

  • On the backend, it would be nice to be able to COPY a similar sku to edit and make its own - creating items takes too long
  • The option for drop downs for different colors / sizes / etc. could be nice
  • The ability to export pricing where you can see the cost too would be nice
  • We have had many more online orders from people we haven't done business with before, which is great
  • We've saved tons of time with creating customer's accounts to automatically display their marked up priced on items. (no longer need to physically update some of these individual's quote forms)
  • This website is much more up to date and user friendly than our previous platform
Yes, 100%. More customers order online now, opposed to call/email orders in, as it's easy, nice to look at pictures and other items, and also to have their own portal/custom account to login to and utilize.
Yes. We've received more online orders than ever before and a lot of them are from random individuals searching and finding us online from all over the USA. We have received better feedback and reviews, as our prior platform was not easy to use or nice looking like this one most certainly is!

Customers love having their own online account that shows their current pricing on items. We love this too, as when you put in the specific markup they receive on each item, the price will automatically change for them. All we need to worry about is updating our costs then.

The big bugaboo for me is the fact that we cannot simply copy a SKU. Being a PPE supplier there are thousands of items that are similar (ex: glasses just with a different lens color), where being able to copy and edit what you need would be ideal. There are so many items we'd like to add to our site at times, but we think about the time that it would require and sometimes we do not follow through with adding because of this issue
