Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica
Scope of our use case is fairly small, we have one location, 25 employees, and do about 15 million in sales per year. We use Acumatica for the whole scope of our business, from inventory, to AR/AP, to order fulfillment, and it works well.
- Live data sync
- Purchase order organization
- Managing 40k+ different accounts
- Performance. Sometimes it feels like it takes few seconds in between every step in a process, if that could be shortened, my efficiency would be vastly improved.
- Ability to customize and enter data at any screen. Often you can view data one place, but you have to open something up deeper to actually change it.
- I have not been super involved with the process behind the scenes, but as a user lower down the chain, even I can say that Acumatica has completely revolutionized our business. We started with it about 7 years ago, and went from something like 8 million in revenue to 15 in that time.
4-6 months
It has allowed us to continue building better features to serve their needs quicker and more efficiently. It has enabled our sales and support team to know our customers much better and individualize our process with them.
As a distributor, we probably use Acumatica in a similar way to most, except that we do not use Acumatica as built-in WMS or inventory forecasting. We have built our own systems for that. We also have an online retail website, that is also a custom build that we have integrated with Acumatica.
I was not a part of this process 7 years ago, but I imagine they looked at quite a few options and settled on Acumatica. I think one of the biggest draws was the modern web-based design over something like Microsoft's ERP option.
