Reviews
(1-25 of 272)Nintex Process Platform - Easy and Efficient!
- Approvals
- Ticketing solutions
- Complex forms with logic
- Workflow reliability (items don't always trigger)
- Load speed/efficiency
- Form customization
K2 needs some serious work in terms of UI and architecture design. Would not recommend.
- It is a solid enterprise workflow engine and pretty much does what it says on the box
- Automate menial and repetitive business processes.
- Integrate disparate software products
- The UI is horrifici can’t think of anything in particular however the cost is a bit high for the African market making the sales cycle particularly long
Won't start workflows when date field is populated
We worked with Nintex engineers and their work around was to add two new fields for every workflow we want to kick off. That is a lot of extra work for a list that already has 100 fields. We keep asking Nintex to allow the condition builder to access date fields. It's been over a year without any progress. They seems to have a lot of turnover with their account team and we have to re explain what we want many times.
- Sends emails
- Need to be able to start workflows when a person enters a date in a SharePoint list
Nintex Automation Cloud is a great workflow management tool
- Complex Antifraud Case Management System
- Well Integrated with SharePoint Online
- Easy integration with Microsoft teams
- Workflow performance can be improved.
- Ability to retrieve SharePoint version history details.
- API support can be improved for other systems integration
Nintex Process Platform - Agility & Scalability
- Ease of approval for workflow processes for document and item list
- Ease of iteration over batches of documents or list items
- Complex divergent pathing and parallel processing within workflows.
- Form designing
- Enhanced workflow automation
- Improve the ease of Integration with RPA
I will like to see an improvement in the ease of scaling complex form designing, enhanced workflow automation, and the improvement in the ease of Integration with RPA tools.
Nintex Process Platform Review
save time
- Conditional processes
- integration with other products
- time saving
- web service calls
- number of actions that can be used in a worflow
- complexity of process with using branches
- Easy creation of online forms
- Relatively easy creation of workflows to send information to multiple people in different areas
- Audits what information was sent to who and when
- Integration with O365 is lacking from going to SharePoint to O365. Workflows have to be rewritten
Good value in having automatic workflow systems
- Automatic approval systems
- Integrate properly with Microsoft SharePoint
- Easier to build the whole platform rather than to code everything from scratch
- Not sure about this
Nintex process platform enables the automation of business processes
- Identify manual and automatic actions
- Create workflow actions based on processes
- Automaticcaly create new workflow bases on business processes
- Make some more difficult calculations about current time etc
Nintex the Power Platform for your Forms and Workflows!
- An Easy way to create "smart" forms
- It's quite easy to create very powerful workflows
- Easy to learn and good customer support
- Would love a better overview of crashed workflows and options to revive them easier.
- An option to sort rules in a Nintex forms, complex forms with lots of rules can be hard to administrate because it lacks this option.
ITT Project Director
- data capture
- ease of use
- workflow
- configuration flexibility
- more admin features
- intgration with other tools
- dashboarding and reporting options
Nintex Workflows
- Approval workflows
- Document upload workflows
- Timely jobs
- It should be better if there is a low code plateform where normal users can create a workflow with out developers need.
Document upload workflows
Best product for Workflows and Forms design
- Business Process Automation using Nintex Workflows
- Custom forms using Nintex Forms for SharePoint list/library
- Scheduled Jobs using Nintex Workflows
- Support for creation of workflows for Box and Dropbox
- Connectors like Power Automate
Easier Processes with Nintex
- Automate complex processes
- Faster workflows with fewer interruptions
- Reduce the amount of internal emails
- Well documented processes
- Partly very long lead times of workflows
- Often troubles when running many transaction, than e.g. needs to be a wait added
Nintex workflows fir Sharepoint
- Our General approval workflow succesfully solves requests regarding HR documents, contracts (customer and intercompany), internal credit and ad-hoc approval workflows.
- Our IT request workflow addresses requests regarding hardware and software resources and also LOB applications permissions. Firewall access requests also addressed with this tool.
- Our OneTTM workflow fully manages IT development process projects. It includes gates and execution requests management.
- Workflow steps notifications and reminders for our customer documents archive are also managed with Nintex SharePoint eorkflows
- Working with regular expressions could be enhanced in my opinion.
- Also REST & SOAP workflow actions could be improved.
Nintex Firm/Workflow feedback
- Great HTML emails
- Azure actions on O365 are helpful
- SQL action in workflow is very good.
- Nintex form doesn’t have SQL action for O365.
- Azure actions don’t allow you to get AD group members using NINTEX workflow.
- You can’t import a list workflow as site workflow.
- Extracting calendar occurance is very hard behind the workflow action.
There is currently not a copany wide mandate to use the platform, but it is being recommended for all departments to use.
I was requested to be trained and use it in the event we need to document a process. I am currently overseeing OpX trainings and do not document processes, but intend to soon.
- Notifications between departments
- Good visual Mgt
- Quiz was very hard, it took me twice to pass it, but I have heard some still have not
- Seems to be a very difficult set up, I would recommend finding a way to make it more user friendly.
- The platform is designed to captue most processes. As an OpX guy I would like to see an easy to use sandbox that could be saved and distributed - like a visio stand alone document. Easy to create and allow for great detail to identify opportunities. Otherwise I would not use it for daily use as there is no value stepping through a detailed set up when I am looking to quickly map something.
It is not well suited for documenting processes when mapping to improve the processes while a team is watching. An application like visio would be much more useful.
I am specifically focusing on automating processes in our University Records department.
I am digitalizing the different processes moving them from paper and/or emails to workflows.
Overall, my entire team of 5 people working on the Nintex Process Platform love it.
- Query our databases
- Allow us to build solutions fast
- Is simple enough to use for our Citizen Developers
- Is versatile: possibility to develop on prem or in the cloud with Nintex Workflow Cloud
- The "Enable verbose logging" is extremely helpful. I love it.
- I have noticed some bugs in the Nintex Workflow Designer with the State Machine action. For example, in the State Machine action, when you delete a state, the branch still shows and take many refresh to actually not show anymore.
- In the Workflow Designer, when we use a Flexi Task action: in the text for Task Notifications field there is no "word wrap" unless we skip a line the text we write just continues and gets of the visible part of the field.
- This is not at all a major issue but if it could be improved it would be great. It usually take at least 4 minutes to run a "Change State" it would be great if this time could be reduced.
- If Nintex support forum could be more reliable with the questions and responses that would be great.
- There is a lot of products in the Nintex Process Platform that we have no training on. I would not be surprised if the decision makers within our companies are even aware that those products exit.
Less appropriate: if it is a smaller firm with for example an integrated MS Azure Stack. Because of the cost of Nintex Process Platform I might be more incline to recommend MS Products like Power Automate.
Intuitive process management
- Processes are laid out in a way that is easy to understand and follow and is intuitive.
- Process forms are very easy to generate.
- Creation of the workflows is intuitive.
- The Risk and Training add-ons are not as intuitive as the process management tool.
- The ability to configure reports/dashboards in Promapp would be useful, at the moment we have to export via excel and then manipulate.
- It would be good to be able to add colour to process maps to further aid understanding
- Handling multiple flows in an automated manner
- Handling various UX capabilities very well in Forms
- Migrates easily from on-site hosting to Cloud version of Nintex
- Pricing! Very disappointed in the new pricing model they have introduced in the last 12 months.
- Integration to migrate forms and workflows to and from O365 tools
Promapp 2023 - Tool for Process mapping
- Map simple process
- Link procedures to processes
- Link processes and activity within processes to different roles
- Mapping higher business processes is not possible with Nintex process platform formally promapp
Nintex - a good tool but could be better
- Nintex workflow and forms work very well to design small applications and workflows to support business processes.
- Nintex forms do not have repeating tables which allows us to use lot of technical folks to write custom code.
- Monitoring lists and libraries
- Alerting
- Allows you to build in situ and adapt easily as things change
- HR onboarding process
- Risk register tracker, including alerting
- Automatic movement of documents to archive libraries
- Procurement process
- Send data to SQL via workflow (stored procedure)
- Looks up SQL data on form (SQL control)
- Provides non-SharePoint forms and workflows (NWC)
- Email notification when workflow fails to start
- Email notification when NWC service is down
- Quicker fix when bug is identified
I love Nintex Workflows
- Creating lists and libraries workflows
- Creating site workflows to review multiple other workflows
- Integration our data sources with theInfoPath forms with workflows
- To have a migration tool from InfoPath into Nintex forms
- To have online build in connections like Snow Flake
- To have more Nintex leadership to engage with customers like us leadership
