Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard AuthPoint

We are using AuthPoint to ensure 2FA for SSL VPN. We also utilize AuthPoint to ensure 2FA access to the WatchGuard partner website. This has substantially increased our security against intruders while keeping the annoyance to our end users to a minimum.

Pros

  • 2FA
  • AD password sync

Cons

  • Additional logging for troubleshooting.
  • Better guidelines for setting up with WatchGuard SSL VPN including timeouts.
  • More secure
Other than some issues with the initial setup and having some premature timeout issues with the WatchGuard firebox and the WatchGuard AuthPoint there has been relatively little trouble.
