Overall Satisfaction with Visier

Visier is currently being used in one of the departments as the HRMS system in conjunction with one of the larger HRMS system. It is used for workforce management. That includes recruiting, talent management, and customizing the recruitment process for various positions we are hiring for.

Pros

  • Visier's talent management modules are well integrated and easy to use out of the box without much configuration.
  • It comes customized for HR management needs for the technology sector.
  • The reports and analytics visualization are simple and easy to read.

Cons

  • Visier is not a full HRMS solution yet. Some pieces are missing.
  • It can do a better job of integrating with a bigger ERP solution. For example, Oracle HRMS to make it easy to use both at the same time.
  • The number and types of reports that come out of the box today can certainly be improved.
  • Positive impact on the ROI to be able to run the HR analytics solution without the need for much IT staff and consulting resources.
  • Positive impact on overall business to be able to get real-time insights Into the recruitment process.
  • Positive ROI to be able to use Visier as an add-on to the bigger ERP solution without the need to spend considerably on integration services.
Oracle HCM, Workday HCM, and PeopleSoft are more comprehensive and most suited for large organizations, while Visier is more suited for smaller organizations. Visier is also well suited as an add-on to existing ERP/HRMS/HCM solutions. Visier takes more effort and IT resources to get it up and running compared to Oracle, Workday, or PeopleSoft.
Visier is easy to install and deploy compared to full feature talent management or ERP solution, so it is very well suited if you want to evaluate the solution or even figure out if a talent management/HRMS solution is a good idea. It is less appropriate if the organization is large and spans multiple geographies due to the lack of support and breadth of the Visier solution.

    Thank you for your review and valuable feedback. Visier is not intended for use as an HRMS or ERP. Our focus is on People Analytics. We deliver this in two ways. One is through partners who embed us in their overall services. In these instances the pre-built analyses available are determined by the partner, based on the data they have in their system. Given the size of your organization this sounds like the solution you are using. The other service we offer is an Enterprise-level solution where we combine data from multiple sources to provide a comprehensive analytical view of the organization. For a typical Enterprise client we combine data from their HRMS (Workday or Oracle), their ATS, Payroll and Learning systems. On top of this we add business results data to link people to business outcomes. If you are looking for something more comprehensive than what you are currently using please reach out and we will be happy to demonstrate our additional capabilities.
