Overall Satisfaction with Vena
We're using Vena for Marketing, Operations and Sales departments to address the problem we had of multiple spreadsheets often with overlapping data being used to track spends in different areas. Lacking a proper 'source of truth' for our data made reporting unreliable and budgeting and planning a lengthy, difficult process.
Pros
- Integrated workflows into sheets
- User control and security
- Intuitive to use for anyone familiar with Excel/Sheets
Cons
- The User Interface is kind of dated
- There is still a burden on the user to have some technical skills (not truly no code)
- Multiple dashboards and screens to access similar data
- We are still early in our Vena journey but we have already discovered opportunities to save $1000s per year thanks to spotting technology redundancy.
We have had regular check-ons from support however the implementation was fairly smooth and we have an in-house technical team that troubleshooted the few difficulties we had.
Vena has enabled us to cut the waste in our tech stack by consolidating all of our tech stack spends into one space. This led to us ending one contract immediately and making better use of other solutions to derive mosre business value at the same cost.
