Overall Satisfaction with UltiPro
UltiPro is our HR/Payroll system. It is used company wide. Employees use the self-service to make changes to their address, taxes, direct deposit, etc. Managers use it for time off approvals, timesheet submissions to payroll, etc. As a company we use the Benefits Life Events for employees who experience a qualifying life event or are recently hired. We use the system for our Applicant Tracking System and then for Onboarding. We use the Performance Management for goals and competencies annual reviews.
Pros
- Innovative solution - Ultimate is leaps and bounds beyond other HR software I have used. They are always thinking ahead.
- Wonderful customer experience - we have a dedicated rep but anyone on the team is able to help out when needed.
- Easy to use - the system is very easy to use. Reporting is easy for those of us who don't know SQL.
Cons
- Mid Market - I currently using Mid Market level. At a previous employer I used Enterprise level. I know there is some differences and would like to use Enterprise again.
- The service model changed with Ultimate in the past year from a dedicated representative to more of a call center approach. Things haven't gone too great on some items however Ultimate has made an effort to fix the situation and prevent similar issues from happening again.
We wanted to improve our efficiencies so instead of spending time on data entry, we can spend more time with employees. The other item is we wanted to make both employees and managers have access online to things instead of always having to come to HR.
I have used UltiPro at a previous organization. I personally enjoy using the system. I have used other HR/Payroll systems before but my number one preference is UltiPro.
