Overall Satisfaction with TriNet HR Platform

We used TriNet HR Plattfom for primarily processing payroll. It does provide us with the basic information to generate reports to manually process information into our Accounting System. It would be nice to have some kind of integration with our accounting system.

Pros

  • The reports generated for entering payroll into our accounting system is easy to read and understand
  • The Vacation and Sick time accrual reports makes it easy for year end.
  • The information on anniversary dates for vesting is very useful.

Cons

  • Integration with Accounting system
  • Issues of out of cycle payroll can be better presented
  • There should be safeguards in place to prevent inadvertently transfer funds more than once by mistake
  • Since I started, I have nothing to compare this to see we were already on TriNet
  • We have not benchmark this.
  • We probably have only used the more basic features
From the Accounting Side, TriNet has provided the information we need to process and input payroll into our accounting system
ADP had made some promises as far as integration with our accounting system. To date it has not worked. So, it manually inputted like TriNet. However, the reports in TriNet are much more easily understandable

It well suited if you are relatively small organization were entering payroll manually into your accounting system. However, if you are larger organization where entering payroll manually into your accounting system can be time consuming and subject to error.
