We use Spotfire for data visualisation and data analysis, especially in cleaning data sets, to find outliers and focus on specific parts of the data to spot trends.
Pros
- Visualisation of data and manipulation of the visualisations
- Fast way to create dashboards and share these with others
- Ease of use, also for staff that is new to the product, very self learning GUI
Cons
- No cons, at the moment, it provides the requirements that I need to do my job.
The flexibility of Spotfire provides a clear advantage above for instance Power BI.
