Overall Satisfaction with TIBCO ActiveMatrix BPM
I use TIBCO AMX BPM for the client business workflow implementation. It is used partially by the organization for now.
Pros
- Distributing work to individual or team/groups
- Maintaining process instance data case to case basis
- Providing proper user interfaces interactively at runtime
Cons
- Please make the TIBCO AMX Admin more user friendly. Currently we face a lot of issues with opening it in Browser.
- The BPM Documentation is not good. The older Blue header was much better. It s not compatible with IE at all.
- You should put proper help on how to configure Security Policies with respect to BPM without using Mediation wrapper.
- Positive - Easy to deploy forms, add users, create flows using business service.
- Negative - hard to configure endpoints, shared resources needed to be configured manually with an eye on the actual coding done.
- PegaRules Process Commander
PegaRules Process Commander is much easier to configure the rules, and it follows a effective Class structure in background. All though BPM has a BOM, it is sometimes difficult to modify BOM once it is deployed.
