Overall Satisfaction with SAP SuccessFactors HCM

The SAP Successfactor HCM suite is used in our organisation for recording salary compensation statements, recording employee information such as manager details/employee talent profile /geographic mobility, such as willingness to relocate, and completing the merit increase process. Any pay rise, role changes, or promotions related to my roles are updated in SAP Successfactors HCM, which can be reviewed as per my need at any point in time.

Pros

  • The entire employee details are stored in SuccessFactors HCM in a detailed and precise form, such as manager details /skill matrix /Location /Talent profile /Salary profile, which can be used for ready reference as per requirement.
  • Important documents such as salary statement can be easily exported to PDF.
  • All e-learning is done through SuccessFactors. We are notified if the manager has assigned learning and continuously notified until it is complete.

Cons

  • I only find the UI to be a bit slow and not very responsive the loading time is a bit on the higher side.
  • The whole process of salary compensation, with critical information on Payrise, is transparent to the team members, including me. Key information on all critical parameters contributing to Payrise improves the overall employee experience as there is complete transparency on the compensation details.
The UI is very user-friendly. Some very limited menus and options are all relevant to the end user. I have not encountered any menu I haven't used, which means the usability is superb.
Because of the implementation of SAP success factors, the entire salary compensation process has become standardized and transparent to the end users.
Not used the AI capabilities yet.

It is suitable for all scenarios regarding salary/compensation-based activities, such as defining the pay rise based on the talent profile calibration matrix. It is also highly recommended that you assign e-learning content to team members reporting to you.
