Overall Satisfaction with Rippling

Rippling is used for a variety of things. Use it for seeing who is in our org, which is simple with the UI. Also used for managing my team, where I can approve different leaves. Additionally used for benefits and Pay. Essentially a lot of the critical job aspects are all within Rippling.

Pros

  • Display the org structure of the organization
  • Find pay and tax documents
  • Easy to navigate benefits

Cons

  • I'd prefer if the org view was defaulted to Org Chart versus Diagram
  • The apps on the homepage and along the side toolbar are repetitive
  • Could be fun to see graphs/charts analyzing pay.
  • Do not need to have a dedicated software staff to keep site running
  • Saves time for HR related tasks such as tracking PTO and approving vacations
  • Reduces number of questions to HR as the site is easy to navigate benefits and pay.
I've not had to contact Rippling support that I remember. I gave a 7 since I haven't ever needed to. Technically it should maybe be a 10 since the best support is when you don't need it. But gave a 7 given the question. Happy to report the site is self explanatory.

The site is very easy to navigate. It ensures to not be cluttered and keeps the wording simple/easy. It has easy to understand categories. Also the font, colors and general UI is well thought out and simple. Anytime I need to navigate to anything I can usually find it very easily.
It is well suited for general areas of having a central location for pay, org structure view and benefits. It's easy to find and navigate through the basic areas of a job that you'd want to look up.

I do not use it as much for 1:1 meeting notes. For that I think Microsoft or Google docs is better.
