Overall Satisfaction with Ramp
We use Ramp for Employee expenses, reimbursements as well as paying vendors. Moving over to Ramp allowed us to review expenses in real time which solved a huge problem for our business. It also allowed us to reimburse Employees expenses as they were submitted not just once a month.
Pros
- Automatically matching receipts from email integration
- Reminding employees that a receipt and/or memo needs to be added to their expense
- Automatic coding of expenses based on settings in the system
Cons
- The system does not allow you to sort on all columns in some of the areas (not consistent from one screen to another).
- When bills are entered in as a Bill Pay, the expense doesn't show up in a csv file until it is paid but it needs to be expensed in the system as the date of the Invoice.
- If a vendor is paid through a credit card transaction as well as Bill Pay, you have to look at two different places in the system to see the details.
- We went from spending $1,000+ per month for a credit card expense management application to earning 1.5% cashback on all purchases.
- The time to review all credit card expenses and employee reimbursements spent per month was decreased significantly (estimated 80%).
- Ramp is constantly improving the application.
- I do not like the fact that I cannot call and speak to support or chat with support directly (not AI).
SAP Concur was a very clunky hard to use system. Ramp was easy to setup and implement, very user friendly and most importantly real time data.
