Overall Satisfaction with Procore
Currently we use Procore to help manage all of our Projects. As a owner/developer GC we use it to help keep our office staff, field staff, and ownership team on the same page. We use Procore for Multifamily Projects, Senior Care facilities, Warehouses, and other types of projects. From a day to day operations stand point, we use Procore to help us solve any issues that may occur in the drawings, help us track any communications so that we do not have errors from that, and to help quickly ask any RFI's.
Pros
- Procore does really well at streamlining communications between the field and office. I think this is a strength because it helps solve what could be, a potential for, communication errors.
- Procore helps keep all the information in one place, so it is easy to access while on the job. I think this is a strength because it helps the field resolve any issues or questions, and making sure they make a correct call.
- Procore does well with being able to log what is happening on a jobsite from day to day. This is a strength because it helps both the field and office know who was on the jobsite and when they were on the site.
Cons
- Punchlist tool could be streamlined to make quicker punches.
- Meeting Minute Size: When printing from our old meeting minutes to using Procore, we almost doubled the amount of sheets. I can see in the future going paperless, but we can't right now, and we're printing a lot of extra sheets.
- Procore has helped save time for team members across the company. With procore saving them time, the company has in return saved money.
- Procore has helped increase efficiency and accuracy of our projects as well. As a company we strive to have buildings built properly while working to increase productivity .
We have integrated Sage/Timberline for our ERP systems. This integration has helped streamline communications across our finance department and our construction department. It helps to keep all members on the same page when it comes to project costs and budgets. Along with helping keep team members on the same page it has also helped to have the immediate access of all this information, allowing for team members from both departments to access information if needed.
The daily log tool has helped speed up input of daily logs. It is quick to copy previous days for notes and manpower, and is quick to upload any photos to the log as well. This has helped our field staff keep up on daily logs as well as doing so quickly. It has helped with work flow for the site staff, to be able to do all the record taking from their phone while out and about, rather than needing to sit behind a computer.
Procore has helped to draw in some team members, with knowing that we utilize this software. They liked that it has helped stream line things in the past and that the company has adopted the use of it as a best practice. It helped them save time in the past as well as helped with communications between the team and they like that.
I have previously used these other software's at other companies, and Procore is ahead of the game when it comes to these tools. These tools are all useful when it comes to one area of expertise in construction, but Procore is good at covering all of these areas and being a one stop shop for useful tools. As Procore grows and improves I don't see how these other products will continue to be utilized.

Yes - For implementing Procore to the company, we broke out training sessions into groups of tools, slowly teaching our team about all of them. Now that our team has a better understanding we roll out new implementation in single meetings.
Change management was a big part of the implementation and was well-handled
- Push back from field members
