Overall Satisfaction with PiiQ by Cornerstone

PiiQ is being used to assess goals and competencies on a quarter by quarter basis. It is used by a 1/3 of our organization. We have not implemented this on the shop floor nor for our installers in the field as they are difficult to access. PiiQ is a tool that helps us align our goals and reinforce our values as we discuss this ongoing with employees.

Pros

  • User Interface
  • Sliders and Text Based Answers
  • Check In Feature is nice

Cons

  • Goal alignment/cascading in an OKR format does not exist. You cannot share goals and have them roll up to see how that objective is being accomplished cross functionally.
  • 9 box trends over time does not exist.
  • It's tool and it's only as good as the person wielding it. The investment in PiiQ was accompanied by a quarterly cadence and manager feedback training. We feel like our employees are given regular feedback and bonuses are tied to objective accomplishment.
Easy to set up as an administrator. Easy to navigate as a user.
Well supported. Cornerstone regularly solicits feedback from users to glean best practices for future releases. I appreciate how Cornerstone listens and rolls out new features.

It's well suited for companies who need a tool that is easy to implement and highly configurable. It's also good for field employees as they can work on the application through their iPhone or iPad. It may not work well for larger companies who need more robust reporting systems.
