Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use Paylocity as our HR / Payroll platform. It solved the issues we had with the final processing of payroll, PTO and employees having access to paystubs and W-2s. It is a more useful HR platform than we were previously using. We also use the recruiting module as well which integrates well with employee on-boarding.
Pros
- Payroll is processed and delivered smoothly.
- The app provides access for all employees to make changes, access documents and stay connected.
- Recruiting helps managers track and stay updated with the interview and hiring process.
- Useful in the integration of benefits.
Cons
- We had to change our PTO policy because Paylocity was unable to duplicate it in the system.
- Performance review process is not user friendly in all aspects.
- Would like to be able to customize notifications more.

Paylocity has reduced the time and effort required to manage payroll manually. Employees can access information easily and manage their own details. Assists greatly with compliance and reporting. Able to communicate and publish announcements to all employees or groups of employees.
Unfortunately although it is simple and available, the company and employees have not fully embraced this feature.
This is our first HCM software.
