Overall Satisfaction with Paycom

Paycom is used as payroll at RMS. As an employee, I utilize the Paycom App to clock in, clock out, check my hours, and approve my check. The transparency is very enlightening, and I enjoy having a punch clock at my fingertips. Checking my pay before I receive it also mitigates a lot of the anxiety and anticipation of knowing how much I will bring home on pay week.

Pros

  • Payroll App.
  • New products for transparency.
  • Easy W-2 process that eliminates common mistakes.

Cons

  • The time sheet page where punches can be changed is confusing and not easy to use.
  • The time sheet page that shows punches for the week has trouble loading up at times.
  • Clock in delay when pushing the button, this could be due to connectivity.
  • Positive impact: Through the app, employees are able to approve their pay and report mistakes directly to their supervisor.
  • Positive Impact: The ease of clocking in and out allows employees to work from home and track their time efficiently.
  • Positive Impact: Time Off tracking makes it easier to know how many people can be out of office for availability purposes.

Yes

I recommend Paycom due to the ease of new hire paperwork, benefit election, and clocking in and out. The best scenario is walking into work clocking in on your phone and not being late in the mornings because of how great the app works.
