Overall Satisfaction with PandaDoc

PandaDoc is being used primarily by our sales and customer success teams to facilitate contract delivery and signing with both new and existing customers. It allows us to easily send out new contracts, make revisions if necessary, and acquire all of the required signatures keeping everyone informed along the way.

Pros

  • Standard document creation and delivery - By making use of document templates, a new document can be created and sent out in a few minutes having to only replace key information tokens.
  • Document signing - The system makes requesting and acquiring signatures on various documents quick and easy for everyone involved and keeps everyone informed of the status.
  • Cost - The software is reasonably priced for the product offered.

Cons

  • Template creation - The tools offered for creating templates, particularly replacement fields, leaves a little to be desired when populating field options and controlling them.
  • Generating new contracts is now standard ensuring that we have all of the required information to move forward, saving us time and money and limiting frustration from our customers.
Prior to PandaDoc, we were simply using standard word processors in order to build our contracts and then send them out. PandaDoc has brought standardization and tracking to the process that has proved invaluable as our business has grown allowing us to put more controls and systems around both new customer on-boarding and existing customer renewals.
PandaDoc is very well suited for the delivery of documents and acquiring signatures. It also does a good job allowing for the creation of templates which makes generating new, standard documents or contracts very quick and easy when the templates are in place. PandaDoc also stores a history of documents which can come in handy for reference purposes.

PandaDoc Experience

We use PandaDoc primarily in selling situations (contracts) when making use of the eSignature feature. It has worked very well for us in this scenario. We have made use of it a few times for legal uses with executing agreements with contractors. It has worked well in this area as well since parties are notified when signatures are added and it keeps the process moving.
It generally works really well and is easy to use and navigate, especially from the end-user perspective when viewing/signing a document in the system. The only shortcomings that have come to light are in the configurability or programmability of the various fields and trying to have field dependencies based on selected inputs as someone moves through the document.
PandaDoc is pretty straight forward to use and we have not had any interactions with their customer support team. The available online help is all that we have needed in order to accomplish our tasks and use the system. In this capacity, they have done well in making help available online.
The integration options available for PandaDoc have served our needs quite well. We have integrated with our internal system to trigger certain actions when contracts are executed and finalized using the information contained within the contract. It was pretty straight forward to accomplish and saves us a ton of time in manual setup.
I have never had an issue with the performance of the PandDoc system. Moving around both from a sender and a recipient perspective has been pretty smooth and painless. When I need to send a new document, the time requirement to log in, find the doc template, create a new one, add information, and send it out is minimal.
I've had minimal interactions with PandaDoc after the sale in terms of talking to sales or support people, which is a very good thing in my book. I have not had any issues or needed to follow-up with them for any reason. The system has been reliable and works well for us!
