Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Application Testing Suite
OATS is being used on a daily basis to manage our master test library, run quarterly Load tests, and execute functional automation for regression testing. We have also had a lot of success managing large scale projects testing cycles using OTM.
Pros
- Test management
- Defect management
- Visibility to project stakeholders of real time testing status
Cons
- Capability to work with ADF
- Capability to work with Hyperion
- It's been a value add to manage project testing cycles with exact reports out to project sponsors
- We've been able to facilitate functional automation
- Works well to execute load testing and VU ramp up
OATS doesn’t work for Hyperion or ADF - hence why I am using it as well. OATS is great as it’s a full suite in 1 tool for load, functional automation and Test Mgmt
