OneNote is a good in-office note-taking program.
Overall Satisfaction with OneNote
I do not use OneNote at my current job. As far as I know, it does not solve any business problem. It may be a choice for some employees to use OneNote when they are in a meeting, and want to take notes of the things people are discussing in a meeting.
Pros
- I really enjoy how you can really write anywhere on the page. It's just like an actual notebook! This allows for more flexibility in what your notes look like, as opposed to dealing with alignments and margins in Word.
- This software allows for touch and pen input (if your computer supports it) and it is really useful when you can't quite express something in words.
- With Office 365, OneNote can now be synced with OneDrive, which is included in Office 365. This allows your notes to be accessed from any computer or device with an Internet connection.
Cons
- Microsoft OneNote can't be accessed from a mobile web browser.
- OneNote is a paid service.
- We do not use OneNote.
