Overall Satisfaction with Newswire
Our company uses Newswire to distribute press releases and announcements to decision-makers, purchasing, and financial audiences regarding company milestones, plans for growth, wins, and promotions. The service is used at our national level and Newswire allows us to read audiences with ease that we were previously unable to reach.
Pros
- Newswire makes navigating the distribution of a press release easy by walking you through each step and giving you the option to choose and enter associated details like regions and categories.
- Newswire provides a prompt review of press releases and has always worked to meet our distribution time even when we've submitted close to a deadline.
- Newswire has a helpful support team that answered all of my questions when we were setting up our account and preparing to send our first press release. It was great to be able to talk to humans who walked us through what we needed to know.
- Newswire provides value-add options that we don't currently use, but plan to as we grow.
Cons
- The one thing that can be distracting about Newswire is the barrage of emails trying to upsell. Being in marketing today, I realize that this is part of the same secret sauce that everyone is using to support revenue growth, but when a customer says "no, thank you," please listen and stop contacting them unnecessarily.
- Newswire has gotten us more exposure than we've every had.
- We appreciate being able to see data associated with each release and can target based on content that's picked up more frequently.
We have not used or evaluated and other Newswire products.
