Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Process mapping, high-level designs, collaborative workshops globally, note-taking, brainstorming, and blue-sky thinking. We use Miro's flowcharts to draw out business processes, bring people together, and make them feel aligned. We do project planning and use it to create graphics to wish people a happy birthday. We also use it to share pictures from our vacations.

Pros and Cons

Pros

I love the collaborative nature of it and the real-time feature.
It brings structure in ambiguous situations by easy and process mapping.
We could use it for creative ways and its only limited by our imagination.

Cons

I'd love to see an offline access feature.
Advanced export options where we can export frames as images for example.
Allow freemium use of AI features.

Return on Investment

Reduced time to completing tasks.
Makes people feel alive by using the collaborative features and nicely designed stickers.
Negative impact: not everyone is tech-savvy, and it takes them some time to get used to it.

Implementation Rating

Initially, Miro was only available for use in specific territories of our company, so we had a generic site with training materials. Now, we have started using it a lot more, and I love how Miro has successful managers who reach out and do workshops on new features and use Miro better.

Collaboration

Miro has improved our team's ability to communicate and present effectively and make complex topics look easy. I love the way it brings people together and some of the unique features compared to Mural, for example, which is less user-friendly. The best part is the real-time nature of it, which otherwise slows everything down with other platforms.
