Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro to bring abstract ideas to life - we will take notes and organize the thoughts to understand patterns and define scope. It is easy to integrate documents and take notes on screenshots as well as use the templates to identify multiple purposes within a meeting as well as use it as a source of record.
  • Organize notes via visualization
  • Use templates
  • Take notes during meetings in a unique way for requirement gathering
  • Templates are sometimes hard to customize
  • Not a super secure for internal
  • AI and beta are still a little buggy
  • Brainstorm time to task down via visualization
The real-time efforts of Miro have greatly impacted virtual work. We are able to specifically work in sync and follow each other's screens with ease. While we do not have the full version, we have worked with vendors that have access to timers and presentation models in order to connect the team and keep on task even more.
Miro is the better option because there is no sync issue and more tools within the whiteboard. Some of the templates in Aha seem too generic or difficult to customize. In order to make these come to life, there is a lot of preparation needed before visualizing with a business partner.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

While there are amazing visualizations around thought processes, there is a lot of concern about the security of the product and we are discouraged from keeping information within the application for too long in order to be secure. I know several other applications are attempting to use a whiteboard function (Aha, Jira) and those particular ones are more suited to the secure nature of our work.
