Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Use for conducting workshops online. Place to add all our work individually and review each other’s work and comments. For large teams or classrooms, many images and documents are added to Miro. This makes the pro slow sometimes. It's great for online brainstorming workshops but not so much for more stylized designed content.

Pros

  • hosting multiple teams and collaboration
  • diagrams and workflows
  • post-its
  • commenting feature

Cons

  • dealing with heavy files
  • more typographic control
  • better post-its
  • better documented that physical brainstorm and pos-its
  • better collaboration and team work
  • efficient for team work
  • easily accessible
With Miro, it’s nice you can see multiple projects on multiple boards, and you can see updates live. It's beneficial for remote work. It’s almost preferred over fundamental interactions for ease of access, efficiency and productivity. It's definitely harder to manage large groups on Miro at once, but it significantly improved workflows.
Better to draw more connections between various cards and stacks.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Well-suited for design to present all work on one board, unlike slide presentation. Can easily present word maps and brainstorms and give overviews. I can also present an entire team's work on the same board instead of sharing another screen on Zoom or Meet. It's not easy to do user research processes like making persona maps or journey maps. There is less stylistic or typographic control.
