Overall Satisfaction with ManageEngine Endpoint Central
Endpoint Central is used for endpoint management, patching, OS Deployment, remote control, software management, license management, MDM and security. I've been using the system for over 3 years and to date, it is great for our environment. It gives us a simple deployment and management solution for a reasonable price. We also use the Service Desk so the integrations are great.
Pros
- Reliable remote control
- consistent patch management
- Simple OS deployment
- Simple inventory management
Cons
- I think the configuration management needs a bit more work.
- Agent can be a little flaky at times
- On Premise updates are more often than I expected.
- Inventory visibility is great
- remote management prevents trips to deskside
- Remote users are easy to support even without VPN
- Splashtop and TeamViewer
The others were simple remote access solutions, ManageEngine Endpoint Central gives much more functionality and value for the money. Integrations with Service Desk providers and other apps makes it even more valuable.
