Overall Satisfaction with Mailjet
Mailjet is being used by a client as part of their website email marketing. We collect leads through a variety of contact forms and then provide a variety of information, promotions, and event invitations to these lists via the Mailjet HTML emails.
Pros
- Collect contact leads and segment them to different lists.
- Integrates very well with WordPress, the client's CMS system.
- Ability to design a variety of subscription forms as well as full HTML control, if desired.
Cons
- Inability to remove contacts from main list.
- Email template builder is quirky and often displays incorrectly in Outlook.
- It's had a very positive impact, growing the client's lists and definitely increasing engagement and product sales when the client uses it.
Mautic is a more sophisticated application than Mailjet, but it's also way harder to setup. It connects with existing contact forms, which Mailjet doesn't, but then again Mautic is way more expensive. AWeber stinks in my opinion. I found it difficult to use, expensive and customer support was terrible. AgileCRM is more of a CRM system but it has built-in email marketing that works fairly well. Its email template builder is worse than Mailjet's though and setting up a campaign in Agile is convoluted. Setting up an automated campaign is easiest in Mautic, the others are all about the same.
