Overall Satisfaction with Luminate Online

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Luminate Online is used primarily by two of three employees. We use it to manage our website, store emails for mailings, handle some class sign-ups and ticketing, and send promotional emails.

Pros and Cons

Pros

It allows you to manage website, constituents, and messaging in one tool.

Cons

We have an older version of the tool, I believe, so I feel like navigating the back end could be more intuitive.
There are occasionally gaps in the set up where we can not fix the way something looks. We change it and it appears changed in the window, but when we save it, it reverts back. Endlessly. It's crazy-making.

Thank you for your review of Luminate Online. I’m sorry you’ve had a less-than-stellar experience with the software so far. As for being on an outdated version, the cloud-based architecture means that for most areas of the system, you’re on the current version. We have some substantive updates to Luminate Online in the works that you will begin to see evidence of in the software soon. We're starting with our user interface, reporting, email and campaign functionality, and we'll gradually roll enhancements out through all of the modules. I think you’ll like the new version of our email tools and campaign management slated to begin roll out in 2017. So please, stay tuned!In the meantime, we have a lot of resources that can help you get the most out of the system.
