LogMeIn to the Rescue
Overall Satisfaction with LogMeIn Rescue
We use LogMeIn Rescue to connect to our clients' workstations to troubleshoot and review issues. During those sessions, we usually have phone calls while we are reviewing the issues at hand.
Pros
- Allows remote access
- Allows control of user's system
- Allows for companies to help customers who may not be comfortable with making changes
Cons
- Add phone capabilities (think Zoom, Webex, MS Teams)
- Easier access to administration on remote servers and workstations
- Remove timeout limits
- It allows for remote access to alleviate customers having to give up time in their day
- It allows for our users to access machines during off-peak hours
- It allows for remote administration for us to provide payment and billing options for off hours
TeamViewer allows for connecting without customer interaction. This allows for seamless remote troubleshooting in a comparable fashion to LogMeIn Rescue. It is better in a way where I don't have to have the customer available to troubleshoot the issue.
